Parole Advocacy Program

Parole Advocacy Program

In 2014, RGV-FFOMC established the local Parole Denied Program to advocate for public safety and ensure that the voices of homicide victims and their surviving families are heard throughout the parole review process. Through this initiative, our organization has successfully assisted families in opposing parole and has helped secure parole denials in 15 homicide cases. We provide guidance in preparing parole protest letters, victim impact statements, and supporting documentation, while helping families understand and participate in the parole review process with confidence and dignity.
